The Rowardennan Hotel in Rowardennan near to the famous Loch Lomond dates back to 1696 but has been fully refurbished in traditional Scottish style. The Rowardennan Hotel has 13 bedrooms over 3 floors including 10 double bedrooms and the Ben Lomond Suite.Each room has been decorated and furnished in traditional style, giving a country house hotel atmosphere. Many rooms have spectacular views of Loch Lomond or Ben Lomond, modern facilities add to the feeling of comfort and relaxation. There are two rooms in the Rowardennan Hotel that are not en-suite however they do have private bathrooms. One of the private bathrooms has a bath and shower while the other has a shower but no bath.
The Restaurant has impressive menus, which includes fresh local produce and a range of traditional Scottish dishes freshly prepared and cooked to perfection by the chef. The Rob Roy bar is named after the legendary Rob Roy MacGregor who lived, fought and raided in the area. Nowadays the locals are much more welcoming. You may meet some of them in the Clansman bar.
